Description
The park along Harbour esplanade between bourke and collins would benefit from rows of trees along the street. It feels very exposed atm and trees would provide shade for pedestrian and cyclist and minimize the wind along the corridor.
Some of the back street would really benefit from having more planting as they have been designed like back of house areas with no activation at street level:Village Street, Fishplate lane need a lot of loving and Batman Hill Drive would really benefit from having ground cover planted around the trees in the nature strip between the two lanes of traffic as it is almost 3 meters wide with only gravel. Gum trees are very skinny and don't add much to making this major street greener.Pepper corn trees are fantastic and really have a presence in docklands. There should be more of them.
